Colonel Lisa Smith and Major Kyle Smith Lead Salvation Army of Southern Nevada in Expanding Community Support and Holiday Assistance

The Salvation Army of Southern Nevada welcomed new leaders, Colonel Lisa Smith and Major Kyle Smith, who shared their extensive background in Salvation Army work, including their time in Hawaii, Los Angeles, Spokane, and Singapore. They discussed the organization's mission, emphasizing vocational training, emergency shelter, and spiritual support. The Angel Tree program, starting October 1, aims to help 1,400 families and 3,600 children this year. The community kitchen serves 900 meals daily, and the organization provides three meals a day for program participants. Donations can be made through the website or by phone.
